AKSS (Anchalika Kunjeswari Sanskrutika Sansad) "Service Is Divine", founded in 1978. In order to meet the menace of a severe flood in 1978 causing massive destruction to human & cattle lives, crops and communication, a group of young college going students having energetic voluntary spirit came forward to serve the shelter less, hungry, flood victims. AKSS present intervention are in the areas of Sustainable Livelihood & Food Security, Climate Change, Natural Resources Management & Environment, Sustainable Agriculture, Disaster Risk Reduction & Emergency Response, Microfinance, Human Rights, Dalit & Adivasi Development, Health, Water & Sanitation, Strengthening of Peoples Organization, Women & Child Development, Peace Building, Education, Skill Training, Handicapped & Elderly Care etc.
A society full of joy and happiness where there will be no poverty ignorance, diseases, sufferings, hunger, exploitation, injustice and which will be saturated with solidarity, integrity, fraternity, nationality, indiscrimination and prosperity.
